Campus Tolerance Foundation was founded in 2002, to combat the anti-Semitism on college campuses. Subsequently, its mission was broadened to fight all intolerance on college campuses, whether anti-African-American, anti-Gay, anti- women or anti any other group.
Campus Tolerance has been working to establish a Tolerance Rating for Universities, as a service to parents and students. Such a rating could affect applications to schools with low tolerance, encouraging university administrators to address the issue and diminish the intolerance.
Demonizing any group is unacceptable. It is un-American and unconscionable. We are working to restore fairness, respect and tolerance on campus.
In partnership with Public Agenda, FDR Research was selected to design and execute a pilot test at three universities, to determine undergraduates' perceptions of tolerance on their campus, toward minorities and women.
